Flash Therapeutics offers two lentiviral vector delivery system and three qualities of vectors depending on your applications:
1. Integrative lentiviral vector (iLV) :
- Ready quality (>106 IG/ml) for Research-grade vectors
- High level of transduction on permissive and “hard-to-transfect” immortalized cell lines
The Ready batch is dedicated for screening applications.
- Start quality (>107 IG/ml) for Research-grade vectors
- Very high level of transduction on permissive and “hard-to-transfect” immortalized cell lines
The Start batch is dedicated for transduction and generation of genetically modified cell lines.
- Premium quality (>109 IG/ml) for Research-grade to GMP-grade vectors
- Very high level of transduction on primary & stem cells
- No cell damage thanks to the low impurity content
- Safe and clinically suitable delivery without inducing toxicity or immunogenicity
- In vivo genetic transfer
The Premium batch is dedicated to in vitro or ex vivo approaches, in vivo gene therapy, transgenesis or direct tissue injection experiments.

Titre (IG/mL) : Number of functional lentiviral particles leading to integration of vector DNA into the host genome quantified by qPCR titration.
PP/IG ratio : Gives a measure of the lentiviral batch quality by discriminating the non functional physical particles (PP) from the functional particles.
2. Biological RNA delivery technology (non-integrative FlashRNA) :
- Start quality (>109 PP/ml) for Research-grade vectors
- Very high level of transduction on permissive and “hard-to-transfect” immortalized cell lines
- Premium quality (>1011 PP/ml) for Research-grade to GMP-grade vectors
- Very high level of transduction on primary & stem cells
- No cell damage thanks to the high purity level
- In vivo, in vitro and ex vivo cell transduction

- A Unique patented purification process: Our high quality virus vectors allow for efficient gene transfer in primary cells, human stem cells and in vivo injection into animals,without toxicity nor unwanted effects on the phenotype of the target cells. Some competitors may purify their lentiviral vectors as well but they do not have a purification process allowing the removal of 97.9% of protein impurities. The protein impurities co-purified with lentiviral vectors are responsible for the toxicity observed on target cells. Thanks to Flash Therapeutics’ patented process, all impurities are removed allowing for healthier target cells.
- Highly concentrated lentiviral vectors for 100% of transduction efficiency on any cell types: The concentration of lentiviral vectors allows the transduction of any cells (immortalized, primary or stem cells) by increasing the MOI. Even the most difficult target cells can be transduced with Flash Therapeutics vectors, which combine high purification and super concentration. We are able to reach more than 80% transduction in most human or murine primary cells such as T Lymphocytes which are hard to transfect. Our competitors are usually not able to reach 10% transduction of T lymphocytes.
- A robust and strong titration method by a professional QC team: The lentiviral vectors titer in TU/ml we provide represents the true count of efficient particles that our customer can use for their experiments. Most of our competitors do not provide titers in TU/ml unit but the full count of particles, including the damaged or empty particles which bring nothing but toxicity to the target cells.
