Vectalys receives the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission

We are proud to announce that Vectalys has been awarded a Seal of Excellence certificate from the European commission as a result of its Horizon 2020 application.  

The project called “MAGIC” for MAnufacturing of Gene delivery tools for Industrial and Clinical applications, describes Vectalys’ plans to up-grade its scalable lentiviral bioproduction platform into GMP to provide both integrative lentiviral vectors for T-cell immunotherapies and LentiFlash™ particles for gene-editing and vaccine based therapies.
The high-quality label Seal for Excellence is awarded to those proposals that have successfully passed the stringent selection and award criteria under Horizon 2020, but could not be funded under the available call budget. By recognising the high quality of these projects, the Seal acknowledges the effort of excellent SMEs and serves as a potential route to alternative funding.
